The Awakening
April 2010
Co-produced with Savage Umbrella Theatrical Partnership, The Awakening is a new company-created musical. Based on the nineteenth century novel by Kate Chopin, the plot centers on Edna Pontellier and her struggle to reconcile her increasingly unorthodox views on femininity with the prevailing patriarchal attitude of the turn-of-the-century South.
